- Who should attend? Administrative staff, faculty investigators and new (two years or less experience) to research administration at CSU. Since the sessions are pre- and post-award focused, they are also appropriate for those who work mainly in one of these areas to attend session s in the other. For example, a pre-award administrator may want to attend post-award sessions to gain knowledge of the entire award lifecycle and vice-versa. The curriculum is focused on best practices.
- Will there be an in-person component? All sessions will be offered virtually, live via MS Teams and will include participatory engagements.
- Must I attend all sessions? We understand that time is at a premium at CSU. We encourage all participants to attend all or most sessions, though there is no requirement to attend every session. While sessions will be recorded and posted, attending in real-time allows for engagement not available when watching on-demand.
- Is Registration required? Register on MyLearning. My Learning will provide the Teams link on the the day of the training, as well as reminders. If you are unable to register through MyLearning, contact the Training Team by email at [email protected].
- Is there a cost to attend? No. Fundamentals are offered by the CSU Office of Sponsored programs for free.
