The RamReality Classes are making it easier than ever to start learning about mixed reality technologies. We are offering beginner level classes to make getting started with creating immersive experiences interesting and accessible for everyone.

All classes are free and open to the public.

As one of the fastest growing technologies, virtual and augmented reality can be intimidating or confusing to start using. This class will cover an overview of VR/AR, the different types of headsets available, how to use them, and a chance to try it out for yourself!

What makes a good visual story when you don’t have a frame and how do you take VR/AR storytelling to the next level? Join CSU Journalism experts in exploring fundamentals in storytelling and how immersive technology can enhance an audience’s experience.

Tuesday, October 30, 4-6 PM | Introduction to iOS Development with Swift and Augmented Reality with ARKit

This session will cover all the basics to get you started by exposing you to the Swift language and Xcode IDE. Participants will experience a basic app development including how to incorporate Augmented Reality via ARKit as well has code repository interactions with GIT. No prior Swift experience is required. Laptops will be provided for the class, but bringing your own MacBook is encouraged.
