Ram Reality Classes

RamReality Classes make it easier than ever to start learning about mixed reality technologies. We offer beginner level classes to make the creation of immersive experiences interesting and accessible for everyone.

Classes are not being held during the 2020-2021 academic year.

Unreal Engine 4 Tutorial | This class is not currently offered. 

A two-part tutorial about Unreal Engine 4. This exciting engine allows you to deploy games, VR/AR applications, and much more without coding (if desired). It uses blue-print, a block-based diagram that allows to interact with the 3D editor. If you ever wanted to have the power of a AAA studio in your hands and have seen the limitations of Unity, this is the time. You will learn how to use the editor and blue prints.

Intro to XR Technologies | This class is not currently offered.

As one of the fastest-growing technologies, virtual and augmented reality can be intimidating or confusing to start using. This class will cover an overview of VR/AR, the different types of headsets available, how to use them, and a chance to try it out for yourself!
