Finding Funding
RAO recommends a diversified and sustainable approach to searching for funding opportunities. Open RFPs, NOFOs, and other opportunities can be found internally and externally in funding databases, on funder-specific websites, via sponsor email lists and listservs, and by word-of-mouth and other relationship-driven communications.
Pivot-RP Funding Opportunity Database
CSU subscribes to Pivot-RP, a database containing active funding opportunities for all disciplines and project types. It includes a wide variety of funding types, including federal U.S. government, private foundations, corporate and international funding opportunities all in one easy to search tool. All CSU faculty and staff can use Pivot-RP.
With your personal Pivot-RP account, you can:
- Sign up to receive customized funding alerts.
- Save and return to previous funding searches.
- Track and get updates on individual funding opportunities.
- Share funding opportunities with others.
- Edit your public profile.
To access Pivot-RP, go to the Pivot ProQuest dashboard. Sign in by “Using my institution’s credentials” and selecting Colorado State University from the “Use login from my institution” dropdown menu. Then follow the prompts to log in using your NetID username and password.
