  • CSU’s Research Project Status (RPS) page – contains account details like sponsor information, award numbers, project/budget begin and end dates, etc. Additional Information in RPS contains information about your award that you can drill down into such as Terms and Reports. RPS also includes the current budget and financial information that is updated every night. Access is via NetID (formerly eid) and password.
  • Kuali Financial System (KFS) – has the most up-to-date financial information about your account. Access is via NetID (formerly eid) and password. Access to all Kuali systems is restricted; an application must be submitted to Business and Financial Services (BFS). What you can view and do in those systems is dependent on your role and the access requested\
  • Vista Plus – Reporting system on all accounts at CSU, it is updated weekly. It is considered the financial reporting system of record. Access is through a unique id and password that is granted after completing the User Account Request Form.
  • Symphony – is a homegrown CSU system that contains both programmatic and fiscal information and is updated every night. Symphony has active links to both RPS and KFS when you access an account. RPS is a static link on the page and the links to KFS are by transaction. When you drill down on a transaction you are able to go directly to KFS and see the individual transaction in KFS and all the related back up if applicable.. Access is via NetID (formerly eid) and password. View the recent Lunch and Learn on Post Award Resources featuring Symphony.
  • Excel spreadsheets – most research administrators supplement the information from the systems above with spreadsheets to track expenses on the accounts they manage.
