Roller Tube Holder and Incubation Chamber

A customized solution for imaging brain slices incubated in flat-bottom roller tubes was developed by the MIN for the Bamburg lab at CSU. Details will be included in a forthcoming JoVE article. The image above was captured during initial testing of the incubation chamber. Technical drawings of the aluminum tube holder and chamber can be downloaded by clicking the image below. Please note that in addition to the parts detailed in the drawings, eight 4-mm-diameter by 3/4-inch posts with 4-40 tapped holes are required to secure the incubation chamber to the stage insert. Four of these posts are visible in the rendering above.
