Colorado State University is seeking a Research Data Security Analyst to support our world-class research programs. As a member of our Research Security program, this position will collaborate with other administrative units such as DoIT, Security & Privacy, Office of Sponsored Programs, General Counsel and others related to issues of regulatory compliance and system security. This person will provide leadership in the evaluation, planning and execution of research compliance related activities, and be the primary contact within OVPR for projects that include Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI). We are seeking someone who has a background in regulatory compliance and is ready to provide data security leadership for the university’s research community. This position will report to the university’s Facility Security Officer and will interface with researchers across the university.
