Interested in Mixed Reality for your research, program, department, college or business? CSU is moving into the future with a Mixed Reality Initiative. With great promise for use on our campus, Virtual and Augmented Reality is set to enhance cross-disciplinary research, scholarship, and artistry.
The RamReality Classes are making it easier than ever to start learning about mixed reality technologies. We are offering beginner level classes to make getting started with creating immersive experiences interesting and accessible for everyone. Check out our list of classes and stop by the Morgan Library Event Hall to learn more about virtual and augmented reality.
The 2018 HP Mixed Reality Symposium will be held Friday, Oct. 19, 1-4:30 p.m. at the Colorado State University Lory Student Center Ballroom D. The symposium will include speakers from industry and research universities to discuss technological trends and potential for research, education and art expansion with virtual and augmented reality. The event is free and open to the public.
During the RamReality Create-a-thon October 19-21 at the CSU Morgan Library, teams of software developers, programmers, artists and innovators will engage in collaborative development of a mixed reality experiences. Hardware and software will be provided. Winning teams will receive cash prizes.
Augmented/Virtual Reality Club
Join CSU’s AR/VR club to study and experiment on how Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality will affect the many fields students at CSU are pursuing. Anyone with an interest in AR and VR is encouraged to join and learn about this upcoming technology!
