Interested in Virtual, Augmented or Mixed Reality (XR) for your research, program, department, college or business? CSU is moving into the future with a Virtual Reality Initiative. With great promise for use on our campus, Virtual and Augmented Reality is set to enhance cross-disciplinary research, scholarship, and artistry.


RamReality Hackathon
Teams of software developers, programmers, artists, and innovators will engage in the collaborative development of virtual or mixed reality experiences over the course of 48-hours. Hardware and software will be provided. Winning teams will receive cash prizes.

XR Symposium
The annual XR symposium includes speakers from industry and research universities to discuss technological trends and potential for research, education and art expansion with virtual reality.

Virtual Reality Classes
RamReality classes make it easier than ever to learn about mixed reality technologies. We offer beginner-level classes to make getting started with creating immersive experiences interesting and accessible for everyone.

AR/VR Club
Join CSU’s Augmented Reality/ Virtual Reality (AR/VR) club to experiment with Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality and how they will affect the many fields students at CSU are pursuing. Anyone with an interest in augmented or virtual reality is encouraged to join and learn about this upcoming technology!
