Interested in Virtual, Augmented or Mixed Reality (XR) for your research, program, department, college or business? CSU is moving into the future with a Virtual Reality Initiative. With great promise for use on our campus, Virtual and Augmented Reality is set to enhance cross-disciplinary research, scholarship, and artistry.
Join us for the 2019 RamReality Hackathon October 18-20 at the Colorado State University Richardson Design Center. Teams of software developers, programmers, artists and innovators will engage in collaborative development of a virtual or mixed reality experiences. Hardware and software will be provided. Winning teams will receive cash prizes.
The 2019 XR Symposium will be held Friday, Oct. 18 at the Colorado State University Morgan Library Event Hall. The symposium will include speakers from industry and research universities to discuss technological trends and potential for research, education and art expansion with virtual reality.
These classes make it easier than ever to learn about mixed reality technologies. We offer beginner level classes to make getting started with creating immersive experiences interesting and accessible for everyone. Join CSU’s Augmented Reality/ Virtual Reality (AR/VR) club to experiment with Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality and how they will affect the many fields students at CSU are pursuing. Anyone with an interest in augmented or virtual reality is encouraged to join and learn about this upcoming technology!
