Information entered in the Laboratory Profile is shared across SciShield&#8217;s modules and used to support compliance processes and oversight activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">CSU uses three modules in SciShield:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Biological Module (Bio Mod):<\/strong> Manages IBC registrations and approvals, including biological agents, projects, amendments, and renewals.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Training Module:<\/strong> Provides access to biosafety and IACUC training, tracks completion records, and helps supervisors monitor training requirements.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Inspection Module:<\/strong> Supports biosafety outreach visits and IACUC inspections through electronic reports, documentation uploads, corrective action tracking, and compliance monitoring.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Together, these modules provide researchers, laboratory personnel, and supervisors with a centralized dashboard for managing biological research compliance at CSU.
