The Office of Research Collaboration and Compliance (ORCC) uses the Biological Module within SciShield to manage IBC protocols. IBC forms are submitted via the \u201cBio Mod,\u201d which can be accessed by clicking on your Lab name and then \u201cBio Summary\u201d in the left-hand menu. If you do not see a Bio Summary subtab on your SciShield page, please contact the<a href=\"mailto:csu_ibc@colostate.edu\">\u00a0CSU IBC\u00a0<\/a>and request that the Bio Mod be turned on.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>New SciShield Users\/New PIs<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>All new users must be given access to SciShield before they can be added to a lab\/group. The PI, compliance liaison, or even the individual themselves can request access. Use the following link to request access for someone; you may either use their last name or their NetID:<a href=\"https:\/\/apps.powerapps.com\/play\/e\/default-afb58802-ff7a-4bb1-ab21-367ff2ecfc8b\/a\/20cbc9a5-576a-45cd-b409-fc4c6bbaf3c7?tenantId=afb58802-ff7a-4bb1-ab21-367ff2ecfc8b&amp;\">\u00a0SciShield Access Request Form.<\/a> Once access has been requested, please allow 1 business day for the request to be processed.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>New PIs must fill out the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.research.colostate.edu\/orcc\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/24\/2026\/02\/SciShield-Lab-Request-Form-for-New-PIs-102124.docx\">SciShield Lab Request Form for New PIs<\/a>\u00a0and send it to the\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:ORCC_Scishield@colostate.edu\">ORCC email<\/a>.
