CSU-Defense Community Relationship
CSU has a rich history of engagement with the United States’ defense community. By establishing the Office of Defense Engagement (ODE), the university recognizes the critical relationship between the academic and defense communities and demonstrates its institutional commitment to this relationship through a formal infrastructure.
CSU-Defense Research Collaboration
A goal of the ODE is to increase engagement in Department of Defense-funded research at CSU. With an understanding of defense agency and CSU organizational structure and interests, the ODE provides information to the university community about upcoming academic forums, research opportunities, and application windows, and assists researchers with navigating administration in the defense agencies.
