1.11.19 2019 Black-out Dates for Animal Deliveries
No animal deliveries will be scheduled for University or universal holidays that fall on a Monday, in addition to the week of Thanksgiving and Christmas, regardless of the days of the week the holidays fall on.
In 2019, no animal deliveries will be scheduled on:
- January 21st (MLK Jr. Day)
- May 27th (Memorial Day)
- September 2nd (Labor Day)
- November 25th (Thanksgiving week)
- December 23rd (Christmas week)
As a reminder, please submit your orders 2 weeks prior to the expected delivery date to allow for order processing.
10.18.18 Equipment Handling Fee
LAR will charge a delivery and cage wash fee for non-LAR requests for equipment.
Two Work orders are required, https://rsweb.research.colostate.edu/LARForms/
- To request initial delivery of equipment. Include protocol, account number, location, and anticipated duration needed
- To return equipment to be re-cleaned and new location updated for inventory purposes.
$78 Fee will be for one hour of Supply Delivery fee ($28) and two cage washes ($25×2). The fee will be billed upon initial delivery.
Additional fees may apply if equipment is not returned, lost or damaged.
9.26.18 Animal Order Reminders
When entering animal requisitions in eAnimal Ordering, please be mindful of filling out the entire requisition form with the desired specifications. If there is a specific strain that should be ordered, include this strain name in the ‘strain’ field rather than in the ‘vendor notes’ section. If the associated catalog number is known for the desired strain, please also include that number in the ‘catalog number’ section just below the vendor selection.
