Tech Skills for Older Adults is a technology help class designed for older adults. This section will provide step-by-step instructions for creating a phone contact, starting a text conversation, replying to a text, texting pictures, using speech-to-text, using emojis, and searching for a text conversation.

The class is limited to smartphones and tablets, not laptops. Each session begins with a 30-minute presentation on the topic, followed by hands-on practice with volunteers assisting in small groups to reinforce new skills. This event is presented in partnership with CSU’s Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI).
