Pamela (Pam) Harrington, currently serves as Director of Strategic Financial Planning and Resource Management for the Office of the Vice President for Research at Colorado State University. In that capacity she provides cost accounting, financial and strategic planning, policy implementation and financial guidance and oversight for the Research Division and leads the division annual budget allocation process. Pam is also responsible for deploying budget approaches to provide start-up funding for faculty, funding additional research infrastructure, and addressing gaps in research administration, compliance, service and support. She serves as the primary point of contact for development and dissemination of research trends reporting and statistical analysis. Pam has been actively involved with Colorado State University’s Kuali project including implementation of both the Kuali Financial and Kuali Coeus research support systems. Her work with Kuali includes serving on the CSU Kuali Steering Committee, the Kuali Coeus Leadership Team, and several special focus groups. Prior to joining the OVPR Leadership Team in September, 2008, Pam was Financial Business Manager for CSU’s Sponsored Programs office where she was responsible for the overall financial management of the Contracts and Grants funding, Gift fund, post-award compliance and audit. Pam holds a Bachelor’s Degree in business administration from the University of Hawaii with majors in both Accounting and Finance.
