Lauren Weller, Communications and Events Manager
Lauren Weller is the Communications and Events Manager for the Office of the Vice President for Research at Colorado State University. She leads her team to plan and implement internal and external multi-media communications. She also oversees VPR events, CSU’s interdisciplinary virtual reality initiative, and coordinates the VPR Graduate Student Fellowship Program. She has 9 years’ experience in community engagement and event planning, and 7 years’ experience leading strategic communications.
A native of Conifer, Colo., Lauren holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism and technical communication with a focus on public relations and a dual minor in political science and sociology from CSU. She also has a master’s degree in agricultural sciences with a focus on public engagement and education.

Patti Nash, Events Specialist
Patti Nash is an Events Specialist for the Office of the Vice President for Research at Colorado State University. Patti earned a bachelor’s degree in English with a concentration in Creative Writing from CSU.

Emma Mannino, Web Designer / Developer
Emma Mannino provides web support for all departments of the Office of the Vice President of Research. She manages web development projects throughout all phases of OVPR website development from wireframing to final production. She ensures web accessibility, designs graphics, provides technical support, and ensures that web best practices are followed. Emma is the contact for all OVPR website feedback and requests.
Emma holds a bachelor’s degree in Health Communication from the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point. She also holds her Master’s in Public Health, Health Communication from Colorado State University.
Lea Wolff, Digital Media Intern
Lea Wolff is the Digital Media Intern for the Office of the Vice President for Research at Colorado State University. Lea helps manage CSU Research social media platforms, writes CSU Source articles, helps support events and creates graphics for the VPR department.
Lea is from Littleton, Colorado. She is a sophomore studying Journalism and Media Communication and minoring in Entrepreneurship and Innovation.
