Inductively Coupled Plasma-Mass Spectrometry (ICP-MS) couples ICP ionization with mass spectrometry to quantify the inorganic composition of samples.  It is exceptionally sensitive (parts per million to parts per trillion limits of detection) covering much of the periodic table.  It can be used in very targeted and sensitive applications, quantifying a single element, or can be used to broadly profile the inorganics present in a sample, in approach called ionomics. Please contact us if you have need for analysis of metals/inorganics in soil, water, or biological samples.
